(Click to see larger image) Narishige's SR-50M-HT stereotaxic workstation provides for a tilting facility to enable approach from the sides. This stereotaxic instrument is developed for small animals, especially mice. For rats please consider SR-50R-HT.

The tilting facility makes it possible to approach from the sides for inspections of the auditory cortex, entorhinal cortex, ventral hippocampus and amygdala.

A rigid adjustable stand is used to enable tilting, and a fixing plate is mounted so that the animal does not fall.
