(Click to see larger image) Narishige's M-44 is a compact size micromanipulator featuring quasi three-dimensional operation by attaching a pivot and tilt mechanism. This compact three-dimensional coarse manipulator is for use on the microscope stage, and reflects the design team's determination to minimize the unit's size. A pivot/tilt mechanism is employed on the single-axis coarse manipulator, enabling quasi three-dimensional drive. Attachment is done by using a 4mm bar. The model can be used in combination with many kinds of stands.
