TNF-Related Apoptosis-Inducing Ligand (TRAIL) is produced by a wide variety of cell types.
For more information and to purchase products, please login. TRAIL is shown to be a cytotoxic protein that induces apoptosis in tumor cells. It does so through the activation of the death receptors, DR4 and DR5. Human TRAIL is active on mouse cells. Recombinant human TRAIL produced in E. coli is a non-glycosylated protein, containing a 168 amino acid extracellular portion of TRAIL that is homologous to TNF. The molecular mass of TRAIL is 19.5 kDa. |
