Clear Rodent Enclosures

These durable polycarbonate enclosures have been designed to house tethered rodents during short-term microdialysis and infusion experiments. Since the tank is round, tethers will not tangle as they sometimes can in shoebox-type cages. Also, animals are less likely to dislodge sensitive probes since there are no sharp corners. Handles at the top make it easy to move around the lab.

The enclosures are most frequently used with our counter-balanced lever arms. Feeders, water bottles and tops are available for both the rat and the mouse enclosures.

Note: /W after the part number indicates compatibility with water bottle; /F for feeder, /WF for both water bottle and feeder. For example, MTANK/WF specifies a 15"H enclosure with holes drilled for the MWATER and MFEEDER.
