Polyethylene (PE) Tubing

PE is one of the most commonly used types of tubing around the lab thanks to excellent compound compatibility. Our?low density formulation (LDPE) and size choices are comparable to Intramedic? tubing but without the hefty price tag.

PE-50 is the most common size as it connects to 22ga swivels, luer stubs, couplers and PinPorts. BTPE-25 is a custom size designed to mates with 25ga devices.

See also our co-extruded PE/PVC tubing which has a layer of PVC around the PE to minimize kinking. We do not recommend using PE for intravascular catheters due to its stiffness; polyurethane should give you better results.

Sold non-sterile on spools of 30m (98ft). Do not autoclave. Not for human use.
