These rat liver microsomes are prepared from Sprague Dawley rats and are suitable as controls in Western applications. Each vial contains enough material for more than 20 Westerns. Oxford Biomedical Research offers the following control preparations:

Clofibrate Induced Rat Liver (RL) Microsomes- exhibits high levels of CYP 4A (1)

Pyridine Induced RL Microsomes- exhibits high levels of CYP 2E1

Dexamethasone Induced RL Microsomes- exhibits high levels of CYP 3A.

3-Methylcholanthrene Induced RL Microsomes- exhibits high levels of CYP 1A1 and 1A2.
