USA Scientific shields are made from 1/2" thick premium grade ultra clear acrylic to provide greater protection than standard 3/8" thick acrylic. (Please consult your radiation safety officer for your institutional guidelines.)

To maintain the optimum condition of acrylic shields, clean with a mild liquid dish detergent only. To disinfect, use 10% bleach followed by a rinse with purified water. Do not use alcohol; alcohol will cause cosmetic surface damage.
