Eppendorf centrifuge model 5424?R holds up to 24 microcentrifuge tubes, features a variety of optional rotors, and has a centrifugation force of up to 21,130 x g (15,000 rpm). The 5424?R is powerful, compact, and quiet. The unique OptiBowl? design offers quiet spins even without the rotor lid.

The refrigerated 5424?R offers temperature control from -10oC to 40oC. The FastTemp program is optimized for super fast pre-cooling and maximum temperature accuracy inside the rotor. The ECO shut-off engages after 8 hours of nonuse to reduce energy consumption and extend compressor life and save up to 40% energy overnight. (Can be deactivated if desired.)

Available with rotary knobs or smooth keypad. Each unit has a full digital display and rpm/rcf conversion key for accurate and reproducible parameter settings. A fixed angle aerosol tight rotor for 1.5 or 2.0 ml tubes is included.
