Choose one, or all of our Specific Structures models to introduce concepts of unit cells, coordination numbers and crystal systems; or as valuable aids when discussing solid state, X-ray diffraction, cohesive forces and other topics. (The characteristic unit cell can be indicated by colored thread or colored connecting rods.)

The models comprise 1", color-coded, wooden spheres attached by sturdy metal rods. Dimensions along each edge vary from 4" to 9", depending upon the structure represented.

Each model is furnished completely assembled.
