EMV V-shaped Electromantles may accommodate 60° funnels, and pear-shaped or round botom flasks

The EMV models feature a stainless steel liner over the heating element to provide additional electrical and mechanical protection against spills. The liner also ensures easier cleaning.

The bottom opening accommodates round bottom and pear-shaped flasks, and 60° funnels of various diameters. The coiled heating element, suspended within a thermal insulating cartridge, provides maximum heat transfer and support. All units feature a "Cool-to-touch" outer casing. The maximum element temperature is 450°C (842°F). Additional standard features include a built-in energy regulator, a replaceable insulated heater cartridge, indicator lamps for power and heater operation, chemically resistant polypropylene outer casing, double fuses for added safety, and grounded earth stainless steel liner to provide additional spill-proof protection.

They have been designed to accept a large range of flasks and funnel sizes for added flexibility.
