The nonporous tops will not rot or rust and are resistant to fungus, bacteria, and UV rays. Durable tops can be routinely disinfected and do not require surface dressing. Ease of machinability permits subsequent field modifications for equipment, piping, and wiring. Curved and other non-standard shaped tops are also possible.
