Thimbles remain very constant in weight

Preferable to paper thimbles as they may be used an indefinite number of times and permit the ignition of the extracted residue without removing the material from the thimble. To clean, place in a strong solution of acid for a short time and then ignite to constant weight in the usual way. Available in three degrees of porosity.
