This syringe is used for delivering liquid samples to a gas chromatograph with the very highest reproducibility and accuracy
The needle holds the entire sample. A tungsten wire plunger is individually fitted to the 0.152mm bore of the stainless steel needle, and it bottoms at the tip of the needle to discharge the entire sample. A PTFE ferrule contained in the needle hub makes a final seal around the plunger at the base of the needle, and is easily tightened to compensate for wear. Needle and plunger may be disassembled for cleaning or replacement.
