A cleavable homobifunctional protein crosslinking reagent.

Contains primary amine-reactive N-hydroxysulfosuccinimide (Sulfo-NHS) esters at both ends. Contains cleavable, 8-atom (12 A?) spacer arm. The disulfide bond in the spacer arm is cleavable with reducing agents such as DTT, TCEP and more. DTSSP crosslinker is membrane-impermeable, thus enabling cell-surface crosslinking without interfering with intercellular proteins.
