Autoantibodies from patients with systemic lupus erythematosus frequently recognize epitopes on the encoded protein. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. Recombinant human SNRPB2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
