Anti-RNA Polymerase II RPB6. Polymerase II (Pol II) is the central component of the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. Pols are composed of mobile elements that move relative to each other. In Pol II, RPB6 is part of the clamp element. With RPB1 and RPB2, RPB6 can form a pocket where the subcomplex RPB4-RPB7 binds.
