Description
Purified anti-Amyloid Fibril (pan reactive). Amyloid fibrils are β-sheet rich insoluble extracellular aggregates, which are generated by unrelated peptides and proteins, and are most commonly associated with neurodegenerative diseases, such as Ab amyloid fibrils in Alzheimer's disease. Some amyloid fibrils are not pathogenic, but are naturally produced for physiological functions, such as melanin synthesis.
