HUVEC are isolated from the vein of the umbilical cord of a single Donor. They are characterized by acetylated low density lipoprotein (Dil-Ac-LDL) fluorescent staining and immunofluorescent staining with antibodies to vWF/Factor VIII and CD31 (PECAM).
