Description
Epo Monoclonal Antibody (BGN/6C2). Erythropoietin (EPO) is a 30kDa glycoprotein hormone which is involved in the regulation of red blood cell production in the bone marrow. It is primarily secreted by the kidney and stimulates bone marrow erythropoiesis in response to hypoxia or anemia. The mature proteins from the various species are highly conserved, exhibiting greater than 80% sequence identity at the amino acid level.
