Description
Mouse Anti-EPCAM Recombinant Antibody (CBYJT-1229). Provided herein is a Mouse monoclonal antibody, which binds to EPCAM (Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule). The antibody can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as FC, IHC-Fr, IHC-P. EPCAM is a carcinoma-associated antigen and is a member of a family that includes at least two type I membrane proteins. EPCAM is expressed on most normal epithelial cells and gastrointestinal carcinomas and plays a role as a homotypic calcium-independent cell adhesion molecule. EPCAM is being used as a target for immunotherapy treatment of human carcinomas. Mutations in EPCAM result in congenital tufting enteropathy.
