    DescriptionRat Anti-Epcam Recombinant Antibody (CBYJT-1232). Provided herein is a Rat monoclonal antibody, which binds to Epcam (Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule). The antibody can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as FC, ICC, IHC-Fr, IP, WB. Epcam may act as a physical homophilic interaction molecule between intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IELs) at the mucosal epithelium for providing immunological barrier as a first line of defense against mucosal infection. Epcam plays a role in embryonic stem cells proliferation and differentiation. It up-regulates the expression of FABP5, MYC and cyclins A and E.
