Description
Rabbit Anti-Human EMX1 polyclonal antibody for WB, IHC. Homeobox protein EMX1 (UniProt Q04741; also known as Empty spiracles homolog 1, Empty spiracles-like protein 1) is encoded by the EMX1 gene (Gene ID 2016) in human. EMX family of transcription factors are expressed in the developing cerebrum (telencephalon). Emx1 plays a role in the proliferation of neural stem cells and differentiation of layer-specific neuronal phenotypes. Emx1 and Emx2 each plays a critical role in regulating dorsal telencephalic development and are amongst the earliest expressed pallial-specific genes.
