Description
Rabbit Anti-Human ADK polyclonal antibody for WB, IHC. Adenosine kinase (AK), also known as Adenosine 5-phosphotransferase and encoded by the gene name ADK, is a member of the carbohydrate kinase PfkB family. ADK serves as a potential regulator of concentrations of extracellular adenosine and intracellular adenine nucleotides. ADK is widely expressed with highest levels found in placenta, liver, muscle and kidney. Mutations in ADK have been associated with Hypermethioninemia due to adenosine kinase deficiency.
