Description
Epitope: aa 178-349 of Isl1 protein. MN, DRG & other nuclear characterized extensively by immunocytochemistry; works in paraformaldehyde-fixed and paraffin-embedded tissue; does not work in methanol or acetone (see Sanders et al., 2003, and Georgia et al., 2006) TEST. also detects Islet-2. The protein region used for immunisation lacks the LIM motifs shared with other proteins.
