    DescriptionEpitope: extracellular domain, EGF repeats #12-20 [see depositor notes]. This antibody was generated against the extracellular domain of Notch containing the EGF repeats #12-20. The Neurogenic locus Notch protein functions as a transmembrane receptor for membrane-bound ligands Delta and Serrate to regulate neurodevelopment. Upon ligand activation, the intracellular domain (NICD) is released from the cell membrane, and forms a transcriptional activator complex with the Suppressor of hairless protein.
