| Description | RABBIT ANTI HUMAN BAI1 (N-TERMINAL). This item detects brain-specific angiogenesis inhibitor (BAI1), a postulated member of the secretin receptor family, which functions as an inhibitor of angiogenesis in the brain. BAI1 is also thought to function in cell adhesion and signal transduction.Reduced expression of BAI1 is observed in some glioblastomas leading to neovascularisation, suggesting that BAI1 may be an excellent gene therapy candidate for the treatment of brain tumours.
