AcceGen Biotech's normal Human Aortic Smooth Muscle Cells are isolated from human aorta. Smooth muscle cells (SMC) are primary contributors to the development of arterial disease. Each vial contains >5 x 10^5 cells in 1 ml volume. Human Aortic SMC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies to specific to α-smooth muscle actin and desmin. It is recommended to use Smooth Muscle Cell Medium for culturing the cells in vitro.
