Description
RABBIT ANTI TRYPTOPHAN HYDROXYLASE (pSer58). This item is specific for tryptophan hydroxylase (TPH), when phosphorylated at serine 58.TPH catalyses the 5-hydroxylation of tryptophan, in the first stage in indolamine biosynthesis (e.g. serotonin and melatonin). The activity of TPH is enhanced by phosphorylation of Ser58, by cAMP dependent protein kinase (PKA) and Ca2+/calmodulin kinase II (CAMKII).
