    DescriptionMouse Anti-BBOX1 (N-Terminus) Recombinant Antibody (CBYY-0233). This product is mouse antibody that recognizes BBOX1. The antibody CBYY-0233 can be used for immunoassay techniques such as: ELISA, WB, IHC. This gene encodes gamma butyrobetaine hydroxylase which catalyzes the formation of L-carnitine from gamma-butyrobetaine, the last step in the L-carnitine biosynthetic pathway. Carnitine is essential for the transport of activated fatty acids across the mitochondrial membrane during mitochondrial beta-oxidation.
