Description
Rabbit Anti-QPCT Recombinant Antibody (RB37104). Provided herein is a Rabbit monoclonal antibody against Human QPCT. The antibody can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as ELISA, WB. QPCT is human pituitary glutaminyl cyclase, which is responsible for the presence of pyroglutamyl residues in many neuroendocrine peptides. QPCT is responsible for the biosynthesis of pyroglutamyl peptides and has a bias against acidic and tryptophan residues adjacent to the N-terminal glutaminyl residue and a lack of importance of chain length after the second residue.
