Description
Mouse Anti-ADM Recombinant Antibody (HTA 91a/G2). This product is a mouse antibody that recognizes ADM. The antibody HTA 91a/G2 can be used for immunoassay techniques such as: IF, IHC. The ADM gene encodes for a preprohormone, which is posttranslationally modified to generate 2 biologically active peptides: adrenomedullin and proadrenomedullin N-terminal 20 peptide (PAMP). Expression of these peptides is widespread, and they have several functions, including vasodilatation, bronchodilatation, hormone secretion regulation, growth modulation, angiogenesis promotion, and antimicrobial activity, among others.
