Mouse Anti-MIC3 Recombinant Antibody (CBYJT-1469). Provided herein is a Mouse monoclonal antibody, which binds to MIC3 (Microneme Protein MIC3). The antibody can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as ELISA, IF, ICC, WB. Toxoplasma gondii is an obligate intracellular, parasitic apicomplexan that causes the disease toxoplasmosis. Found worldwide, T. gondii is capable of infecting virtually all warm-blooded animals, but felids such as domestic cats are the only known definitive hosts in which the parasite may undergo sexual reproduction. The microneme protein, MIC3, is a major adhesion protein that binds to the surface of host cells and parasites, and is therefore a potential vaccine against T. gondii.
