    DescriptionMouse Anti-XAF1 Recombinant Antibody (CBYCX-110). Provided herein is a Mouse monoclonal antibody against Human XAF1. The antibody, clone CBYCX-110, can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as ELISA, WB. XAF1 binds to and counteracts the inhibitory effect of a member of the IAP (inhibitor of apoptosis) protein family. XAF1 seems to function as a negative regulator of members of the IAP (inhibitor of apoptosis protein) family and inhibits anti-caspase activity of BIRC4. XAF1 mediates TNF-alpha-induced apoptosis and is involved in apoptosis in trophoblast cells. XAF1 may also be a tumor suppressor by mediating apoptosis resistance of cancer cells.
