Description
Mouse Anti-XPA Recombinant Antibody (3F396). Provided herein is a Mouse monoclonal antibody against Human XPA. The antibody, clone 3F396, can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as IHC, WB. XPA is a zinc finger protein, which plays a central role in nucleotide excision repair (NER). XPA interacts with DNA and several NER proteins, acting as a scaffold to assemble the NER incision complex at sites of DNA damage. Mutations in XPA cause Xeroderma pigmentosum complementation group A (XP-A), an autosomal recessive skin disorder featuring hypersensitivity to sunlight and increased risk for skin cancer.
