    DescriptionMouse Anti-XPR1 Recombinant Antibody (2G8). Provided herein is a Mouse monoclonal antibody against Human XPR1. The antibody, clone 2G8, can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as ELISA, WB. XPR1 is a receptor for the xenotropic and polytropic classes of murine leukemia viruses, which is involved in phosphate homeostasis by mediating phosphate export from the cell. XPR1 binds inositol hexakisphosphate (Ins6P) and similar inositol polyphosphates, such as 5-diphospho-inositol pentakisphosphate (5-InsP7). Defects in XPR1 have been associated with idiopathic basal ganglia calcification-6.
