Description
Mouse Anti-XRCC6 Recombinant Antibody (8C359). Provided herein is a Mouse monoclonal antibody against Human XRCC6. The antibody, clone 8C359, can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as WB. The XRCC5/6 dimer acts as regulatory subunit of the DNA-dependent protein kinase complex DNA-PK by increasing the affinity of the catalytic subunit PRKDC to DNA by 100-fold. The XRCC5/6 dimer is probably involved in stabilizing broken DNA ends and bringing them together. XRCC6 is DNA targeting component of the DNA-dependent protein kinase complex DNA-PK, which plays a role in DNA double strand break repair.
