RBC depleted leukocytes are collected from peripheral blood by sedimentation of red blood cells using HetaSep. Then, the granulocytes are isolated by density gradient separation and further processed to deplete any remaining RBC. Finally, the eosinophils are isolated using an indirect immunomagnetic labeling system.
