Description
NMDAR3A/NMDAR3B Monoclonal Antibody (K35/40.1). Grin3a is an NMDA (N-methyl-D-aspartate) receptor subtype of glutamate-gated ion channels with reduced single-channel conductance, low calcium permeability and low voltage-dependent sensitivity to magnesium. Grin3a is mediated by glycine and may play a role in the development of dendritic spines. Further, Grin3a may play a role in PPP2CB-NMDAR mediated signaling mechanism. Grin3a belongs to the superfamily of glutamate-regulated ion channels, and function in physiological and pathological processes in the central nervous system. Grin3a shows greater than 90% identity to the corresponding subunit in rat. Studies in the knockout mouse deficient in Grin3a suggest that the protein may be involved
