Description
PAR4 Polyclonal Antibody. Prostate apoptosis response protein (Par-4) is an ~38 kDa protein containing a leucine zipper at its carboxy terminus. The leucine zipper is required for Par-4 function during apoptosis and has also been shown to directly interact with Wilm's Tumor Suppressor, WT-1. Par-4 is up-regulated in apoptotic prostate cells and has also been observed at ~18 times higher concentration in human brain tissue from Alzheimer's patients when compared to unaffected brain tissue.
