It is suitable for Western Blots and is specific for the ~66 kDa Che-1 protein phosphorylated at Ser477. Immunolabeling is blocked by preadsorption of antibody with the phospho-peptide that was used to generate the antibody but not by the corresponding dephospho-peptide. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. |
