ApplicationsImmunohistochemistry, Western Blot. Anti-Synaptobrevin antibody is suitable for use in Western Blotting and IHC. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band of approximately 16 kDa in size corresponding to the VAMP proteins in Western blot of rat brain lysate. Researchers should determine optimal titers for applications that are not stated below.

DescriptionAnti-Synaptobrevin (VAMP) Antibody is directed against human synaptobrevin. Anti-Synaptobrevin IgM was purified by chromatography. Anti-Synaptobrevin antibody has also been demonstrated to work in immunohistochemistry on formalin fixed, vibratome sections, but does not work on paraffin sections. Reactivity is expected against bovine, mouse, pig, rat, rabbit and hamster.
ImmunogenAnti-Synaptobrevin (VAMP) Monoclonal Antibody was produced in mouse by repeated immunizations with synaptic immunoprecipitate (crude) from human brain.
