ELISA, Western Blot. Anti-STAT3 antibody is useful for Western Blot and Dot Blot. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately ~88 kDa corresponding to STAT3 protein by Western Blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.

Description
Anti-STAT3 was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. This antibody reacts with all STAT3 modifications. Cross-reactivity is seen against STAT1 and STAT4. BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Human, mouse, and rat. Cross-reactivity with STAT3 from other sources has not been determined.
Immunogen
STAT3 affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with synthetic monomethylated or asymmetric dimethylated peptides surrounding Arginine 31 of human STAT.
