A stable transfection of cells will be performed using either calcium phosphate, electroporation or liposome fusion followed by application of antibiotic pressure to up to five (5) colonies for the selection of cells that retain multiple copies of expression vector. Hollow fiber technology is used to grow the HeLa cells at high density. The price is per liter of culture produced. The estimated time required for this step is 3 to 5 weeks (depending on scale).
