ELISA, Western Blot. Anti-Ataxin 1 ATTO 594 Conjugated Antibody is suitable for Western Blots and Immunocytochemistry. Expect a band approximately ~85kDa on specific lysates or tissues. No cross reactivity against phosphor S751-Ataxin-1. Minimal cross reactivity against S751A mutant of Ataxin-1 by ELISA and immunofluorescence and negative by immunoblot. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Description
Anti-Ataxin 1 Antibody was purified from concentrated tissue culture supernate by Protein G chromatography. BLAST analysis suggests that it is 93% identical to rat and 87% identical to human.
Immunogen
Anti-Ataxin 1 Antibody was produced by repeated immunization of mice with a synthetic peptide containing amino acids 746-761 of mouse ataxin-1.
