ELISA, IF Microscopy, Western Blot. This affinity purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, immunohistochemistry and western blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Paraformalde-hyde fixation is recommended for immunohistochemical staining. Expect a band at ~17 kDa in size corresponding to Survivin by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.

Description
This IgG fraction antibody is directed against human Survivin protein. The product was purified from monospecific antiserum by selective precipitation followed by ion exchange chromatography. Reactivity against Survivin from other sources has not been determined.
Immunogen
This IgG fraction antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region near the carboxy terminus of human Survivin protein.
