Real time stability testing is used to confirm or establish long term product stability. This type of study may evaluate performance based on physical characteristics and activity of a product for the projected lifetime of the product. Product expiration can be determined with this study. Examples of typical real time studies measure time points for 6 months, 1 year, or as many as 2 to 5 years, however the time window is customized and based on client defined requirements. Consultation with Rockland staff is highly recommended. All Stability studies performed at Rockland may include customized reports generated by Rockland or using a client defined reporting template.
