The Quantikine Human MMP-7 Immunoassay is a 4.5 hour solid phase ELISA designed to measure MMP-7 in cell culture supernates, serum, plasma, saliva, and urine. It contains NS0-expressed recombinant human MMP-7 and antibodies raised against the recombinant factor. The Quantikine kit detected both pro- and active forms of recombinant human MMP-7. Natural human MMP-7 showed dose-response curves that were parallel to the standard curves obtained using the kit standards, indicating that this kit can be used to determine relative levels of natural human MMP-7.
