The Quantikine? Human Total MMP-8 Immunoassay is a 4.5 hour solid phase ELISA designed to measure total MMP-8 (pro- and active MMP-8) in cell culture supernates, tissue lysates, serum, plasma, platelet-poor plasma, and saliva. It contains NS0-expressed recombinant human MMP-8, and antibodies raised against the recombinant protein. Natural human MMP-8 showed dose-response curves that were parallel to the standard curves obtained using the Quantikine? kit standards.
