NPP Buffer (1x Working Buffer) is required with the use of NPP (50X) ELISA ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE SUBSTRATE, a chromogenic substrate utilized in immunosorbent assays. Phosphatase-conjugated detection antibodies can act upon the pNPP to convert it to a yellow para-nitrophenol. This yellow product can be measured on a spectrophotometer at 405nm.
