hH2R GsalphaS is a fusion protein in wich the GsalphaS N- terminus is linked to the C-terminus of the human H2 receptor (hH2R) via a hexahistidine (His6)-tag. The H2R couples to Gs proteins to activate adenylate cyclase (AC). The fusion protein hH2R GsalphaS ensures a defined 1:1 stoichiometry of the receptor and GsalphaS subunit. The fusion protein allows for highly sensitive analysis of receptor/G-protein coupling in terms of ternary complex formation, guanine nucleotide exchange and AC activity. MW: 80 kDa
